Time is a precious commodity. Everyone is so busy rushing around. Even retired people say they are so busy that they can’t imagine how they ever had time to go to work. Maybe dialing back the busyness would be a helpful Lenten discipline. Take some time for yourself and for your spiritual life as you read and discuss the book If You want to Walk on Water You’ve Got to Get Out Of The Boat. Taking the time to gather with a Christian Life Group can help you develop a plan for becoming a “water walker.”
Signing up for a Christian Life Group is not a lifetime commitment. They will only meet five times during Lent. Sign up to participate in a group, or better yet, volunteer to serve as a host. Hosts pick the time and place where their group will meet and serve as the discussion starter using the Leader’s Guide which has been prepared. Consider this you call to “Get Out of the Boat.”
