Christ the King’s Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, Feb. 14 at 11:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Continuing the pattern from last year, this meeting will be focused primarily on the 2016 Budget for Ministry, as well as the election of new members of the Congregational Council, Nominating, and Auditing Committees.
Copies of the proposed budget, year-end financial statements, and candidate biographies will be available by Sunday, Feb. 7. Ministry reports will be presented at the second portion of the Annual Meeting, tentatively scheduled for May 15.
The agenda of this meeting will also include the vote to extend a call to John D. Schwehn to serve as our next Associate Pastor. Ahead of this important vote, CtK members will have the opportunity to meet Pastor John and his wife Anna on Saturday, Feb. 13 from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
As we continue to move toward a sustainable Annual Budget for Ministry, we do so believing that God continues to provide for the mission to which we are called. In the midst of many organizational, financial, and leadership changes, we rely on the constancy of God’s amazing grace and abiding mercy, revealed to us in Jesus Christ. We look forward to participating on this important day in the life of our congregation.
