Library open house this Sunday, May 1
The CtK Library will be hosting an open house this Sunday, May 1 from 8:30 a.m.-12:00 noon. There will be a display of new books for all ages. Join us for punch and cookies. More.
RSVP for Many Voices, One Mission Festival and Fellowship Dinner
Make reservations for the annual Hmong Fellowship Dinner to be held May 15, 5:00 p.m. at Hmong Central Lutheran Church in St. Paul. After a multicultural musical celebration featuring Hmong, Chinese, Latino and Christ the King musicians, we will be served delicious Hmong meal with five entrees including egg rolls. The suggested donation is $7 (children 6 and under free; immediate families $25). Tickets will be sold after worship on May 1 and 8.
Vacation Bible School registration now open!
June 15-18, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 noon
Registration for Vacation Bible School is now open! Sign up your child for a week of food, faith, and fun at VBS. Through songs, crafts, and activities, kids will dive into God’s word. Cost is $10; scholarships are available. Register today.
Still time to contribute to the Creation Art Gallery
The deadline has been extended for artists, photographers, and nature enthusiasts to contribute art for the annual Creation Art Gallery on Sunday, May 8. Download your submission form (PDF) and pick up a form at the Welcome Center. Submission forms are due by Sunday, May 1.
May 1: Last day to register as a VBS Volunteer
If you're planning to help with Vacation Bible School this June, we want to know about it. We are still looking for people to sign up as crew and game station leaders. Sign up online or contact Deb Wolterstorff by May 1.
Habitat for Humanity volunteer registration now open
CtK Build Days, July 25-26, 8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Build with us on the site (4375 121st Ave NE, Blaine) for one or both days, 8:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. The house will be near completion so we will be working on finishing tasks. We need 18 volunteers each day, minimum age 16. No experience necessary—Habitat staff will teach you! Sign up today to work onsite or donate food for our crew.
