Confirmation is one of our favorite ministries at CtK! 6th - 9th graders meet regularly to learn and talk about God, ask questions about what it means to be a person of faith, and discover more about our Lutheran tradition. Learning, service, and fun happen in large groups, class, and small groups.
Although Confirmation is not a requirement for those in the Lutheran church, it is an important faith step for youth and their families. We look forward to you joining us on this journey!
This year's topics include: Who wrote the Bible, God or Humans? Can I be a Christian without coming to church? and others. Please preview a clip from our curriculum below.
6th-8th graders meet Wednesday nights during the school year from 6:00-7:30 PM, using the curriculum called Re:form.
9th graders spend their last year of Confirmation meeting primarily one-on-one with a mentor of their choosing, and they conclude their time in this ministry by creating a faith project.
Fee/Year: $50. Full and partial scholarships are available. Just ask.

Ready to join us? Start by filling out CYF (Children, Youth, and Family) Covenant & Permission Form, Student Registration Card, & return them and the $50 fee to the church office.

Night of Witness gives our ninth grade Confirmation Students the opportunity to share their beliefs with the larger community at Christ the King through song, spoken word and video presentations before affirming their baptism at a confirmation service. It is the culmination of their years as a confirmand, but does not signal an end to their life with Christ. To hear their faith stories during the 2012 Night of witness please click here.
