Children @ Worship

CtK stresses the importance of children and youth worshipping together with their family. We welcome children of all ages to join us in worship and we understand that can be a challenge for parents as attention spans are different for all ages from week to week.

Our CYF Ministry Team has created the following tools to help keep children engaged in church and something to talk about throughout the week:

Worship Bags

We have rainbow colored worship bags geared toward different aged children to keep engaged during the service. Look for new worship bags rolling out in the Fall of 2011.

Taking Faith Home Handouts

They're not just for Kids! These are new each week and a wonderful tool to connect your Sunday worship experience (and your faith) with the rest of your week

Spark Magazine

Pick up your new issue of Spark Magazine at the Children's Bulletin table located at the main doors to the sanctuary.

Spark Bible

These are picture friendly versions of The Bible made just for childen. We often use them for the Sunday readings and Children's Time.

Children's Time

Every Sunday we invite children of all ages up to the front for an inspiring Children's Time message. Occasionally we have a visit from the world famous Charlie the Church Mouse - Keep your eyes and ears open!

Nursery

We offer a Nursery for children 3 and under during the non-summer months - just in case they need a break from the worship service.
