Special Services and Musical Events.jpg

Since the first service in 1961, Music has been a big part of Christ the King. Over the years our music program directors have developed a remarkable reputation in the community.

It is the continued support of over 200 musical participants that strive to embody the gospel of Jesus Christ, enhance the worship experience through our diverse choir grous and provide events for our congregation and community through music.

Music Ministry enriches our worship experience by:

  • Providing spiritual and spirit led music.
  • Providing thought provoking and intelligent music that continues to raise our awareness as to the awesomeness of our God.
  • Providing dynamic and multifaceted music as our congregation continues to grow in its diversity.
  • Providing innovative, fresh, and creative music that challenges us to be in tune with our changing culture.

We provide opportunities for all to share their gifts of music to the glory of our God.  If you are a singer or an instrumentalist, we have a place for you.  ALL are welcome to be a part of our music ministry.

Join anyone of our many groups and share your gift of music to continue Ctk’s long-standing reputation of our music program into the future.

Coming Soon!

In an effort to provide a musical experience for the children of our church and surrounding communities, we are forming an area children’s choir under the guidance, direction, and support of Christ the King Lutheran Church.  The mission of this endeavor would be to:

- Provide children with an opportunity to learn music of a variety of genres.

- Provide performance opportunities for the ensemble.

- Teach proper performance and rehearsal etiquette.

- Teach children how to sing correctly.

- Teach children the fundamentals of music and its role in our society.

- Broaden their appreciation of music by providing enrichment opportunities over and above what is otherwise available to them.

- Provide children with an opportunity to be a part of a group, develop relationships and learn what it means to work together towards the accomplishment of a worthwhile goal.

The Children’s Choir will start rehearsing mid-September and registration will begin in May.  Watch for more information throughout the spring. Please contact Bruce for with your questions
